The kids are loving it and very excited to check off their chores. Design is good. However the color is disappointingly a faded black and both (I ordered two) have white smudges, looking like residue from a white marker that I thoight is something faulty in the printing. Apparently this is purposeful to mimic a real dirty chalk board. I would have rather had it black and clean. So just be aware that it is designed this way, as you can't tell from the internet photos . A little disappointed with that design because it will always look smudgy and on my black fridge you can tell the black color difference. But it works and the kids like it. Once you start writing on it you don't notice the white faux chalk smudges as much.
