It alerts me when the water gets low so I can refill it before the tree dries out—no more needles all over the floor. Setup was easy, alerts are reliable, and the LoRa range works great even with the tree not near my router. For a non-traditional use case, it’s worked flawlessly. This has been a great product for us. As we don’t have an auto filler for the pool, I was able to use this to warn if the pool level was low so we can fill the pool when needed. Using Alexa, we automated a routine to automatically turn the hose on when the water level is low. Also, I put the unit inside an electrical enclosure and drilled out a small hole for the level sensor. This keeps it protected from the elements.
