The answer should not be "Cowhide" !** A: From what I can tell in the USA I don't have them with me here to check. On a side note, I think "Cowhide" was a great answer lol. **Q: are these insulated for winter?** A: I can wear these gloves during winter (when it's cold) with warming comfort. Just make sure you size them so they are not tight on your hands. You need some dead air space in them to realize warmth. Of course they have to stay dry. If they get wet, the gloves will make your hands colder than no gloves at all. **Q: How do you tell amazon that they are sending the wrong gloves? twice i received item 1164xx instead of 1168xl.** A: Contact the seller and tell them. Got o your orders, find the item and click on it. I do a lot of rough work with my hands. At my age, I've had plenty of wood splinters under my fingernails, broken fingernails, metal slivers, cuts, blisters, burns...I like to wear durable and comfortable leather gloves doing most chores. Since you can get these gloves wet repeatedly without them shrivelling and getting stiff, they are well worth the money. Even though they are soft they are pretty durable.
