I purchased this a few years ago when taking cost accounting in school and now as I prepare for the CPA I must say, this guide is still a fantastic companion. This subject can get pretty crazy considering there is tons of theory, costing methods, classifications, analysis etc... This outline cuts straight through the fluff.In short, each of the chapters are presented as follows a) brief explanation of the concept (typically a few paragraphs and bullet points) b) example/s of the concept c) various problems d) solutions.
