I did keep the controllers and all my games for a new one. I found this one. I don't play sega, so I didn't need the all three when purchasing a new system. This one is great value. I did find a game console that was identical to the one I had, but a beautiful color, teal. I opted for this one, despite being black, which is fine. I don't care for the av wires, but I am ok. I have to remember to go to the Av on the tv when I want to play. My son helped me get it hooked up and remind me of the av on the tv. I was grateful for him making sure it was hooked up right. I also didn't need the controllers from my previous game system. This system has controllers that I can utilize for NES and the SNES games, which is a totally awesome game changer for me. Also, it's a bit smaller than my previous game system, which is great! Living in a camper, I'm so glad it doesn't take up as much space.
