Review: So far so good - I've been using this to monitor and care for a 48V 220AH LiFePO4 battery I constructedfor the last eight months. It has worked perfectly so far, and has been very convenient with its bluetooth connectivity. (No need to open the battery compartment to monitor cell voltages) Almost all of the important parameters are configurable including but not limited to maximum charge & discharge rate, cell balance threshold, maximum cell and pack voltages, high and low temperature limits, etc. One word of caution though, if you have slightly mismatched cells, the 100ma balance current of this BMS will likely not be sufficient to keep your pack in the green. I found this out as I had 1/64 underperforming cell that needed to be exchanged. This isn't a fault of the BMS though, so no points off there. The BMS hardware seems good but the programming is horrible, both the app and the PC software. The unit offers almost no effect balancing because it is only active while charging. It does appear to offer over current and over/under voltage protection. It often shuts down without any alarm shown. Reset in app is the only thing that will reactivate it. No support, at least by anyone that knows anything.
