Not cheap flimsy rubbish. Simply drill a hole through your wall. Then having disconnected the live, earth and neutral wires thread them through and extend the cable to your mounting point. Drill more holes for the back of the unit and screw in and make water tight with rubber plugs and surrounding rubber seal. Reconnect the live earth and neutral wires, screw in face plate and add more screw seals. Then tighten the wire coupling under the base and neatly add the hammer in the cable tacks throughout the external cable. Job done in 20-30 mins. Looks great and practical. If you’re wanting to use a usb c plug I’ve found that you can use quite deep plugs as long as the sockets are on the bottom and not on the main back. I have one plug with 2usb c and 2 usb sockets, which fit fine with the lid shut.
