As a machinist I wear industrial rated steel toe boots all day while standing/walking on concrete. Socks are the most important component of my work wardrobe from a comfort stand point. Uncomfortable feet with their distraction is not an option when you’ve been working all day on a part that with one wrong move can become a really fancy paper weight. These socks provide support, breathability, comfort and reinforced bottoms. Nice and slim where your boot laces are tightened, mesh cooling vent behind the toe and thicker fabric to hold up to the beating the soles and steel toe box can put on a sock. Most importantly they are fairly priced. I was tired of paying $6-15 a pair for work socks, no more, sorry carharrt, these guys got you in the sock department. ### ⭐⭐ Way Too Tight Around the Leg *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2018* I was excited to receive these socks because I walk a lot at work. Even though they have the ventilation channel, allowing ventilation, they made my work boots too tight. My socks have 2 comfort mesh well top bands toward the top of the sock to keep them up. However I'm within the posted size range and the heal of the sock is an inch and a half or so above my heal; they would flop out above the heal of my shoe. I've not had this much of a problem with other one-size-fits-most socks.
