The next door neighbor's small dogs yap incessantly. I had to put this high up due to a fence being in the way if it was any lower (about the 8 feet, when product says not to put over 5) but with the way it hangs, it can sort of tilt directionally toward the ground if you do it right. There is also a small tree between and it still works great. I can't believe the peace this little product has given me. It's not perfect, but it's seriously worth a try. It's pretty sensitive so it will pick up random noises other than dogs barking (like birds chirping). Also, the packaging and instructions are full of spelling errors, so initially, I thought the quality would be subpar.The main reason why I left this review is because after having it out there, I got used to the quiet. They started barking again so I checked and the battery was drained. Once I replaced the battery, the barking stopped again. If that's not proof for me, I'm not sure what is.
