I always wear a size 8 in all shoes. These sandals are just a bit too small (my heel sits at the very edge). They are also a bit tight in the toe box area for me. I do have a wide toe box, so I wasn't surprised by this. I am hoping they will stretch a bit as I wear them because they look super cute. I bought a pair for my wife and according to her, the sandal is very comfortable. The sole is thicker and softer than the average sandals, and protects the arches of the foot really well. We bought other sandals from amazon before. But they were either uncomfortable or ugly. This pair meets my wife's needs in both aspects. She chose Cherry color, which matches her complexion. I also bought a pair for my mother-in-law, and she was also satisfied and will wear it to the beach during summertime.
