I cleaned the surface with rubbing alcohol before sticking and it lasted about 3 months. That being said I have older children that thought the proper way to open the cabinet after they were installed was to yank as hard as they could (eye roll). I feel like they would have stood up to wear and tear longer had they not don’t this. There are screw holes if you head to your local hardware store and pick up some small screws, the sticky holds them in place nicely so you can securely attach them with a couple of screws or teach your 11 year old not to yank. Overall I’m pretty satisfied because of ease of use and how long they stood up to the abuse. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These were fantastic, i stuck them where i needed them *by C***S on July 4, 2018* I had bought some similar hooks without the adhesive. It made installation very hard. These were fantastic, i stuck them where i needed them, and then went and got my screwdriver.
