However this will fit all that I know (I'm a retired plumber) **Q: What is colour of is this - grey or white please?** A: Grey!! **Q: I have an 80mm downpipe will this fit? the review below says it is to big for UK pipes.** A: Internal dim is just over 80mm so yes should fit. Not many down pipes are 80mm diameter ? They are usually about 60mm which is why this comment is on here. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐ Check dimensions! *by T***E on 13 April 2012* Unlike many other diverters, this unit does not need to be at the same level as the water butt/container and gives flexibility with the closing tap to regulate flow and terminate. It is well made. However, the outlet is short (as per illustration) and if needing to fit an extension pipe, rather than water gushing out of the bottom, there is no thread or flange - hot glue/duct tape on standard flexible diverter plastic pipe will fit inside! The main problem is the house downpipe dimension - MOST domestic downpipes are (according to local pipe suppliers and builders) 68mm. This unit will not fit (much too big) and apparently, only Marley pipes have these dimensions. They do not manufacture reducers to convert either. The box says "fits most household downpipes" and I had assumed it would fit ours which are the same dimension as all others in the area.
