It almost spoils me. The only gripe I have is the tiny ball bearing that auto-locks the insert can become gummed over time, which then eliminates the joy of auto-lock. I resolved this with a little lubricant and cleaner. The countersinks are sharp, but be careful not to overheat or stress the bits, as they do like to snap in hardwood. The case is very sturdy, and keeps all the pieces neatly together. All in all a very fine purpose. Review: A really good countersink set - This is one of the better countersink sets I’ve found. However, I have used these many times with an impact driver with no problem. I have some of these sets that are over 20yrs old which still work. Eventually the aluminum part will begin to wear from impact driver use making it difficult to use the flip feature to swap drill for drive. The steel inserts begin to twist into the aluminum causing a jam, making it difficult to remove by hand. **Q: Does this work only for soft material as wood/plastic or with metal as well?** A: I would not use them on Metal, Even through they do not say "Wood" only, they are not made to be used on metal.I would not use them on soft metal like aluminum.good luck **Q: Is the hex that the drill/countersink fits into, the same size hex that the screwdriver bits fit into?** A: Yes, the countersink fits into one side of the Quick Change and the bits will fit into the other side. **Q: Does anyone know if they sell replacement bits?** A: Hi, I don't know if DeWalt sells them but the driver bits are the standard size and therefore available from many suppliers. Most of the projects I do such as benches, chairs, tables etc. need to have the screw heads counter sunk to hide them and protect user from rough edges. I do break the drills fairly often, but they are easy to replace. The flip feature of this drill set is easy to use and works great. After lots of use the bits get dull and need to be replaced, but that is what I consider normal wear.
