I also use the unrefined brown type if I can get it, adds more depth to the flavour. I'm only trying to emulate my mum's wonderful marmalade but I'm too lazy to do my own oranges! **Q: Why is this not available in shops or on here ?** A: We have this in stock. **Q: Is this suitable to be used in a bread maker on the jam setting?** A: Hello ! Personally I wouldn't recommend it, maybe because I'm of an older generation. Anyway, in a big pan (copper if you have one) it's a mere matter of 20 to 25 mns, and I can assure you it makes the most scrumptious marmalade. All my friends love it. Best regards **Q: How long do the jars keep for once made?** A: They keep for ages. Officially up to 2 years I think but that’s just to cover their backs and will last indefinitely really if your sterilising and potting process is good. Good luck keeping it for that long though.
