The EWT Chuck included two important features that when combined contribute to effortless and lightning fast jaw changes: the Zoom Ring (ZR) and Snap Lock Technology (SLT). The Zoom Ring on the rear of the chuck gives you the ability to open and close the jaw quickly to various gripping diameters with the just your fingertips. Use the Zoom Ring (ZR) to bring the jaws into position to lightly grab your project then use the supplied T-handle Chuck Key for final tightening. Easy Jaw Snap Lock Technology (SLT) allows you to change the set of 4 jaws to the next set in less than 30 seconds. SLT uses no screws or wrenches to exchange jaws.
