You can wrap your feet around the bar to do side crunches and other more basic moves though. I follow several pilates accounts on Instagram and have gotten many great workout routine ideas, and these accessories help me recreate those moves. I would love to upgrade to a nicer model but this kit has opened up a ton of new exercise options for me and I'll be happy with my older reformer for a long time now. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Good quality but a space killer for an otherwise compact system *by A***H on Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2021* The box is not as high quality as a studio version but I'm overweight and genuinely have no concern that it will break. It is well constructed. The pole is fine, but I never really needed one before for balance and this isn't a weighted bar so it doesn't add much value that way. The pull up bar feels cheap, however, there are no signs that it will break or give. When not on the reformer the sides shift out of position easy but it will still install easily as well.While this is an adaquate package and absolutely will do the job and is worth what they are charging, I wouldn't buy this again. At least not at this stage. I can't get plenty of variety in workouts without these accessories and they are much more challenging to find space for. Additionally, all parts need to be removed from the reformer before it can be stored away. The uprights the reformer came with could be left on the reformer and save some setup but this pullup bar would need to be removed. It's not as sturdy and sticks out much further. Either way, if you are going to pack up the reformer after every use, everything is supposed to be removed from it which makes setup and tear down more time-consuming. If you want these accessories, they will all do the job well.
