When I found out that it is also available as a book, I bought this set. It was a great investment. My daughter could read all easy words at first and I would read the remaining words. But because there is so much repetition in the story, she started to read more and more of the parts herself until she could read the whole book alone. It proved to be a massive milestone in her reading because it improved her reading speed tremendously (since she know most of the sections by heart). However, ever since she learned to read this one book (Room on the Broom), her general reading speed has also significantly improved. So for me it has been a great investment. The other books in the bundle are also not bad. Some are better then others. The print and size is really nice, too. Review: Good variety of books - Julia Donaldson is such a great storyteller. My son likes very much this humorous stories with a lot of rhythm in them. After couple of reading he is able to repeat whole parts of them. And great colourful illustrations are icing on the top - they are able to gain focus of the kids.
