Simple to install a 2230 SSD, then plug and play with USB to make a portable high performance drive that is much better than most thumb drives. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very nice M.2 enclosure. Seems quite water/moisture proof, despite hole for wire/key-ring. *by C***R on May 27, 2024* I have many levels/types of data backup, including an emergency backup I always carry with me.This enclosure became my last resort backup, hanging around my neck most of the time, replacing an earlier flash drive.Very heavy duty (and heavy as a neck item :-) ).Seems quite moisture proofed. There is a hole in one corner where I put a small quarter inch keyring to attach a lanyard. But that hole is covered inside by a second layer of metal casing that covers up that hole.I put a 2230 (30 mm) NVME M.2 drive inside, and it is very fast (as fast as USB 3.2 can allow).As is the nature of these enclosures with no real cooling or fan to move air, on that first long fill of data transfer it gets quite hot. Pops up in the 80-90 degree Celsius.
