Havahart Deer Off Weatherproof Deer Repellent is comprised of 100% dried blood, the scent of which triggers a flight response in deer. Odorless to humans and safe for pets, this product includes six stations with stakes for positioning at a height similar to the high point on the vegetation you are trying to protect. Safe for vegetable gardens, the stations carry repellent scent across your land as air flows through. The weatherproof casings protect the repellent from the elements, ensuring efficacy throughout the spring-to-autumn growing season. Equipped with topside loops, the units may be hung with wire, string or hooks, or inserted into the included wire stakes and placed 4 ft. to 6 ft. apart for maximum effectiveness. For best results, replace Deer Off stations at the beginning of each growing season.

My perennials were being eaten to the ground.  I heard about this product from a horticulturist I follow.  Deer Off is fantastic.  The plants are bouncing back and are not being eaten.  I especially like that it lasts a LONG time.  Sprays have to be reapplied with every rain.  These are rainproof.  I'm ordering more.

They seem to work just fine, but the grey repellent tops fall off everyday and it is annoying having to walk my property and replace them on the thin metal rods that you have to TRY to straighten because they arrive in a 'U" shape. Redesign them to stay on and I will buy them again. If not, no thank you.

I am a repeat customer. The forsythias and sweet potato vines have been untouched since I started using this product. So it seems to keep the deer away. Can't be certain there isn't some other factor at work, though.  Just replaced the original set of repellant containers, which lasted about 9 months.
