Be very careful when buying “warehouse”, as the new lids and containers have a different radius, which means the pre-2019 lids and containers are NOT compatible! I bought “this item” not realising it was an OLD container (and missing a lid) and had to track down an old lid on an auction site. NB the new lids are slimmer, with a thinner ridge around the top, and the lid edge tapers inwards and up. The OLD lids are thicker, with a bigger seal, straight sided edge with a thicker flat raised border to the top. **Q: Can you use these storage containers for leftovers? (Eg. Stew, casserole, etc.)** A: Yes, I don’t see why not. These storage containers are my best choice for storing and sorting all my kitchen pantry necessities! They come in all sizes and can be easily organised to fit any space and nook and cranny in your kitchen cupboards. For me, this is the best choice to create a more streamlined sense of organisation in the kitchen. Material of the base is made of hard plastic and the top easily comes apart for a thorough wash and clean up. Its not delicate, so deliberate dropping from a height will definitely damage the product, but it can survive the accidental slip on the sink when washing and cleaning. I usually put sticker labels to differentiate contents for one another (especially for baking products) but they look good even without them. Pushing the button on the top creates for a good air-tight seal ensuring that the products stay fresh for longer. They may not suit all budgets, so buying a complete set will probably break the bank - but an upside to it is it's quite durable and can stand the test of time.
