Además, el ángulo de afilado fijo de 45 grados puede no ser del agrado de todos. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Sharpens, but the edge isn't great *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2024* I took a very old and dull pocket knife as a test for this sharpener. The first issue I encountered was that there is nothing to stabilize the knife in the sharpener. So although the sharpener has a good angle for sharpening, if the knife is not held steady in a vertical position, the angles being ground into the blade will not be consistent and the knife won't be as sharp. The second issue is that the stroke needed is awkward. Since you need good pressure to scrape the metal edge of the knife, just using a straight stroke will cause the knife to slam into the base after it pulls out of the sharpener. To get the knife sharpened to the tip requires using a downward force while pulling with your wrist as the tip approaches the sharpening surface.The sharpening results are mixed. The sharpener will improve an edge that has roll and chips. The knife was definitely sharper after using this device, but not extremely sharp. Picture 1 shows the knife's edge before sharpening and picture 2 shows the same area after sharpening. The large defects are gone, but you can see that the very edge is a bit uneven. This also means that the sharpness will not last as long. Picture 3 is the same knife after using a diamond stone to sharpen and a strop to refine the edge.
