You would still need to equalise but this keeps ears dry and reduces pressure on them Review: Me compré esta máscara para bucear con botella porque estaba cansado de sufrir otitis del buceador. He hecho ya 10 inmersiones con botella con ella y bastantes salidas de snorkel, y va fenomenal. Buceando con botella no suele entrar agua en los oidos, pero si entra la puedes vaciar de forma parecida a como se vacía la máscara. Si te queda algo de agua dentro no es problema tampoco porque hace el efecto de un neopreno, y calienta el agua que te haya podido entrar. Compensar es además mucho más fácil. Como no podía creerme que no entrara agua por los tubitos de las orejas a la máscara he llevado una máscara de repuesto en las inmersiones, pero no me ha pasado nunca ni aunque se me hayan inundado por completo las orejeras. Los tubos laterales son verdaderamente de una sola dirección: Puedes pasar aire fácilmente de la máscara a las orejeras pero no pasa el agua de las orejeras a dentro de la máscara. Si tienes problemas de otitis y buceas te recomiendo de verdad esta máscara, lo cambia todo. Last year I got my PADI, Advanced Openwater and Nitrox in a 2 week diving trip to Bali. I used this mask in conjuction with Doc's Proplugs (vented version) to make sure I kept the inside of my ears dry and still have the ability to clear my systems. I do know that I will never dive in cold water as even to much cold behind my ears can me disoriented, but with this mask I was able to dive for 2 weeks with 2 dives a day going to 40m max and having no problems at all during or after the trip. It is to bad it is still a niche product, that is by other divers laughed away.
