They are super easy to install because they wrap them around a plastic card so you just unwind as you go. This is the first time I have ever used solar (don't judge) and can not believe how easy it is ..... I don't have to do anything, they just turn on and off all by themselves. The only reason I gave them a rating of 4 on the brightness is because one of them goes dim (not off) towards the early morning hours. I will be ordering more.**UPDATE** So the one string of lights that goes dim towards morning time actually does not ever shut off. I recently figured this out after replacing the battery a few times now. I can see them twinkling during the day if I look real close .... but this means the photosensor is not working properly and it does not allow the solar panel to save battery life, so it burns out within a few days and I have to replace the battery again. I'm hoping someone can tell me where the sensor is so I can replace it OR the company will send me a new one in good faith.
