Its actually really easy. I worked at starbucks for 12 years. All you do is grind some decaf instead of regular coffee for whatever filter you will use.( Its easiest if you buy what's called a toddy maker, but you dont have to get one, I dont use one but I've been doing this a long time.) Most likely paper filter. Whatever amount you grind, say 2 cups worth, than you will only use 1 cup of water. And you just pour the water (room temp.) AMD soak overnight for 12 hours.drain the coffee and there you go..when using room temp/colder type water, it makes the acidity on the coffee out and makes for a smooth coffee. You also want to make sure you get the right type of coffee depending on what you want to do with your coffee. If you're goifn take mochas and or add vanilla or whatever dont want to fo with an African blend coffee because of the citrus notes on it. An Arabian coffee would be good for that. So just take into consideration the different regions of where coffee s grown and you can get am idea...its also REALLY important to make sure it's the correct grid for the filter you use. If you are using a paper filter than you dont want to use am espresso grind because it's too powdery and than makes it harder to pass through the filter. And would make your coffee taste way too bitter and strong. When you use your coffee you can store in the fridge or room.temp for up to a week. Use 1 part coffee to 1or2parts liquid, just add what you feel taste good to you.
