I have a number of makita cordless tools and a 3 amp makita charger. These, of course, will only charge to the output of the charger, but that’s been enough. Good spares to have as backup and good value for money. They are not great to power a grinder, but then don’t expect a cordless to power through hard materials without going through a couple of batteries, but drills and radios they are perfect for. Not had any problem charging them.
