Read further if you like: This control box is for a 3HP 3-wire pump. A 3-wire pump runs on 4 wires. These 4 wires are 2 hot wires, 1 capacitor wire and 1 ground. Neutral is NOT required in 240V system. The input side of this box connects to 2 hots and 1 ground that come from the power source.
