Makes the best broth or whatever else you can think to use it in!!! I highly recommend! Needs to be refrigerated, however will last a year. **Q: What is the carb content per serving? What are all the ingredients? I need to read labels for health reasons - can't have sugar at all in any form** A: On the product label: Total carb 2g. Sugars less than 1g. Protein less than 1g. That is "per serving size" = 3/4 tsp which makes 1 cup prepared. **Q: If I order today, what will the best by date be?** A: I always refrigerate and keep capped when not in use. I also always use a clean spoon to remove the product. I have had the base become a tad dry, but a teaspoon of tap water fixed the problem. With all that said, I have never experienced the product going bad.
