Catch tons of minnows and other fish in a nearby stream. Sometimes it doesn't work cause the fish just nibble the bait through the mesh, it probably would work better if you created some sort of mesh box in the middle of the trap so the fish are forced to swim through the side openings and can't just eat through the mesh openings. Will try to fix something up and see how it goes. Bottom line, I've probably used 50 times and caught over a 1000 small fish over the last year.
