These replaced far less substantial iron hangers that easily bent.I did have to use longer screws and reinforced the top with the equivalent of a black mending plate to add two more screws for security. The primary weakness here is that the supplied screws are insufficient for mounting into most substrates, especially soft wood such as Cedar. The secondary weakness is that there is little clearance for more substantial screws at the top hole, so I chose a 3 inch screw design with 1/4 inch nut ends to them and used an open ended wrench to mount them.I know I’m pushing the 35 pound limit with the large planter, so I may order an additional hanger “just in case”.These are highly recommended, just use caution on how they are mounted. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, long and attractive wall mount bracket *by T***K on May 25, 2024* I had a hard time finding a bracket long enough to stock our rain chime out past the gutters.
