A: Yes, good general purpose rubber lube.All rubber whether material or man made. It will make some rubber swell slightly and indicated that on the label, but you will not notice it.., just important for 0 ring squeeze calculations.  Have used it for ~ 40 years  on dive regulators, scientific equipment, hydraulic systems. Rowing shells Etc. One tube lasted 30 years  so it will Be with you for a while. Very waterproof... Doesn't  ce off with soap and water, so be careful where you put it
