It provides an analog value, which can provide better control, rather than a 1 or 0. Module needs to be placed about 1/8 inch above line for best resolution. Review: This item doesn't work. Github pull requests with fixes for their code and docs sit around for months. The forums never seem to post anything. The module does respond to it's i2c address, but then only produces the number 2 as data, and responds to no other messages. Not as documented.
