Cotton is also more porous than paper which would make it harder for the eraser to lift the marks out. The eraser is lightweight, shaped like a thick pen, and comfortable to hold. The eraser refills are small cylinders that insert into the tip, and they’re replaceable, so you don’t have to buy an entirely new set. The eraser is impressive- you just press a button and let the eraser spin which allows you to erase with precision—you can target small details in a drawing without smudging surrounding areas. The only cons I can think of is the eraser tips are small and wear down quickly if used a lot at once. It’s not really ideal for large erasing areas—better suited for detail work. This particular brand only comes in one color, which isn’t a make or break for me. It works like it’s intended to work. Overall, I’m very pleased with this electric eraser and find myself reaching for it often.
