This arts and activity kit includes 5 vibrant puffy paints (orange, green, purple, blue, yellow), along with a set of interchangeable tips. The kit also comes with a picture tracing book and stencils.The paint itself has a thick frosting-like consistency, which adds a sensory, textured element to the activity. The different tips that come with the kit offer a variety of ways to dispense the paint, but there are some challenges. The narrower tips, while great for detail work, are difficult to use and can make it hard to get the paint out. On the other hand, the larger tips tend to make a bigger mess and aren't as accurate for tracing. This can be a bit frustrating, especially for little hands trying to control the flow of paint.That said, my granddaughter loved the experience. It was messy—paint got on the table and on her clothes—but it all washed off. I did let the paint dry overnight, as thicker layers take longer to set.
