And then the wear and tear started to show. The material is rather fragile and scratches/rips easily. I had put the chair a little to close to the counter and when I turned I scratched the chair along the counter and it ripped.Then a few weeks later, I was getting off the chair and I heard something break. Upon examination I could feel a loose end of a metal bar rather close to the front of the chair. I tried to push it back into where it belonged but it didn't budge. It has now broken through the front of the chair (because the material is cheap) and I have no idea to fix it.I should have listened to the review. Although the chairs are "affordable" it isn't worth buying it. Because you will just have to buy new chairs a couple of months later.
