I am very impressed with the quality and the look. Definitely not cheap leather or flimsy in any way. Most importantly (for me) - my 17" laptop fits perfectly. It's not so snug that it will strain the pocket that it's in, but it's also secured by a nice velcro strap INSIDE, which gives me an even better sense of safety. And the laptop pocket's zipper is cleverly made - longer on one side than the other, which is exactly how I tend to pull my laptop out when I need it. There are SEVERAL other pockets, and many organizer touches that are well thought-out. I am retiring a department-store canvas/nylon backpack that is over 5 years old, and even after transferring all of my cables, chargers, lunch bag, and odds and ends, I have WAY more room. I can't speak to long-term durability, of course, but the straps seem quite sturdy, including rivets. I'm expecting a long useful life. Always getting compliments!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and beautiful *by K***A on July 27, 2024* I have been using the bag for a few months. It's high quality construction, strong zippers. Even empty it has noticeable weight, but to me that means it is solid and I'll have it for years. It seemed to advertise to men, but I think the leather is classic and unisex and have gotten compliments. I'm a 5foot6 woman and it covers my whole back, so probably wouldn't be comfortable for shorter people. Straps are nicely adjustable with no nonsense metal parts. The 4 easy access zipper pockets are convenient and the main area is split, half for electronics and half for anything else, but the separation is flexible and I can essentially use one third for electronics. There's velcro to strap in your device, but I skip it with no harm. I carry a 17 inch laptop and a15 inch screen in it, charger, headphones, everything I need for work and still have space to use it as an overnight bag with a pyjamas, change of clothes, toiletries, and a book or two. Does not have a water bottle holder so I wouldn't consider it a replacement for a regular backpack for a day out and about. But it is ideal for my lifestyle of semi-nomadic work-from-wherever I happen to be today.
