It is designed to plug into a USB port. However, if you have a NAS or computer with a USB port and share the drive across the network it will work fine. **Q: Does this come with uk power socket ?** A: Yep, bought mine 10tb version in Jan. 2021 "Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L." and it comes with loads of plugs. One for every plug socket on the planet ,looks like. You get the main plug + clip-on front-ends to use depending on what country you live in. Reading old reviews i think old versions didn't but my recently purchased had way too many :) **Q: Does inbuilt Usb Hub work great when connected to all external disks (without their own power supply)? Which disks have you connected?** A: The powered USB hubs work fine with several of my Sony, Toshiba, Seagate and WD hard portable USB hard drives no problems. **Q: What are the power supply input specs? On the power brick, does it take 110-240v or similar? Thanks!** A: It came with a 12V 2amp power US adapter not a power brick - I just use a 12v 2amp UK adpter from an old router but any that fit and is 12v 2amp should work.
