Well, more than the aesthetic appeal, it actually is useful to have a canister than you can fill from either the regular isobutane canister or the tall aerosol butane type. If you're an ultralight backpacker, skip this one and just go with the regular canisters. It's pretty hefty. That said, for everything else it's great. I just wish it was in the $25 to $29 price range.
