He just let the water in the shower hit it while the shampoo ran off his head. Not to worry, he was made fun of for years for it. I bought a couple of these poufs on a handle with the hope they are sturdy and don't come apart. I have been using one for 2 months now with no problems. It lathers well and holds the lather. It's easy to rinse out and it is still attached to the handle. This thing has entirely changed my bathing habits. I used to put on a decent amount of deodorant because there was always a musky smell still present. With this thing that musky smell was gone, so I started using less deodorant. As such, I have less stains in my shirt from deodrant, and I take a lot more effort to actually smell.I also had fairly consistent bumps on my back and ribs. Not zits and not viewable to the naked eye, but maybe ingrown hairs or something I could feel. They are entirely gone now.
