Well .......my expectations were blown out of the water. Not even 20% into the book and i had tears running down my face and stomach muscles aching so badly.I loved Max in TCOLC, with his one liners, wit, charm and sarcasm so i was dying to see how that played out in his book. Well within the first page alone he throw 2 really cheesy chat up lines at some poor unsuspecting barista and lets just say she was less than impressed lol. Enter now Jason (who for a cop really should be kept in bubble wrap for his and others protection) and a man so orange he make as an oompa loompa look pale and a camera crew.Congratulations Max, you are the next bachelor on Love Island!! You have won a very uncomfortable (but hilarious) doctors trip, 3 weeks on a tropical Island with Amazon, Angry, Minion, little B, grumpy and 20 other woman whos names you might never remember but the nicknames are more than funny themselves. Oh and just to make sure you get the most out of this experience there is also the added bonus of Reid, a goat and a gecko.Now remember that poor unsuspecting barista?? Well yep you guessed it, she is one of the 25 woman taking part. Becca is upfront from the very start that she is there for the money to help her get through her last year at school, she wasnt expecting to meet Max again, let alone actually start to like him .......Max and Becca are perfect for each other, they are like two halfs of a whole. They have the same quirky sense of humour and i love love loved the whole thing, it was fanfriggingtastic!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars another great book from this series, perfect reads *by K***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 11 June 2015* I love this series, if you have not read The Consequence Of Loving Colton you will not know who Max is. Well let me tell you he is the best friend anyone male or female could want and he is so funny and outlandish i adored him. So when he got his own book, well i hoped i was onto a winner and i was not at all disappointed. As i read the book and the different location setting i was glad Max never lost his sense of humour with all the various female contestants he encounters. However when he meets the right one the sparks fly and it is just as great a connection as in the previous book between Milo and Colton. I love Max and his fast talking mouth that can get him into so much trouble and out of it as well as providing some zingers that will have you laughing out loud. I eagerly await more from this series and will forever recommend it to people to read. Why? Because this book like its predecessor is romantic, fun and witty with always some drama added in somewhere along the way , which is to be expected with thee characters. Also do not fear though reading this book before the others will only get you used to Max and his shenanigans for when you meet him in book 1 and undoubtedly i imagine the others in the series to come. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Fifty Shades of Tickle-Me-Pink *by G***8 on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 June 2015* I have read many, many, many books on my Kindle and have really enjoyed each one, including RDV's other literary creations - the Elite series in particular (being Italian, it hits the spot if you know what I mean), but I've never known what to write. This book, however, had me laughing out loud from start to finish, earning me some pretty strange looks from people whilst travelling to work on the underground I just had to honour it with a review. I had two things running through my mind when reading this book.. Number 1 - I wish I had a BFF with this sense of humour and sharp wit to create this comedy masterpiece and ROFL characters like Max and his posse - right up my street. Number 2 - this should be made either into a film or a television series because it would rank right up there with Friends. I've also now read the consequence of loving Colton (I know... wrong reading order... so sue me!) and I thought that was just as hilarious. Albeit this book, in my opinion, is overall a tribute to slapstick comedy, there is plenty for the romance seekers courtesy of Max & Becca.
