Being the inventors of air conditioning, Carrier has done its best to provide a fantastic product with smart features at such a reasonable price.I ordered the AC on 23rd June 2024 and received it in the first half of 24th June 2024.Many customers have mentioned about the bad quality of installation, overcharging and also Carrier installation team not visiting on specified time, but in my case every thing went smoothly. Here I want to state that as soon as I received the unit I never waited for Amazon to raise the installation request infact, I proactively called Carrier's toll free no. and raised the request for installation to their executive and instantly received the SMS of confirmation that my request has been submitted successfully.At that time monsoon had not arrived in my place in U.P. and mid day temperature was around 47 deg. In such harsh conditions I received the call from the installation guys with in an hour of my request submission and the two arrived just on promised time and executed their job perfectly on the same day of the receipt of the product i.e. 24th June 2024.They charged the standard installation fee of rs. 1180/- as told by the Carrier executive while registering the installation request. They did not force me to purchase any extra accessories. The installation was done with the standard installation kit.AC unit is a delight performer, it cools down the room quickly with in 15 minutes and then its fan speed decreases by itself as I have set the fan speed to auto mode. Blower sound on maximum speed is ok and not irritating and on lowest speed is almost none.Main feature is the flexicool 6 in 1 Convertible in which AC performs as mentioned below.FC1 compressor runs at 0.4 tonFC2 compressor runs at 0.6 tonFC3 compressor runs at 0.8 tonFC4 compressor runs at 1.0 tonFC5 compressor runs at 1.10 ton andFC6/Insta cool - compressor runs at 1.20 ton for 45 minutes. One can choose the setting according to his room size and comfort level.You can not turn off the remote unit, it will turn off only when the batteries are uninstalled or if they get discharged.One can easily control his electricity bill by using the smart flexicool feature of this AC wisely.Till now there are no issues and I am totally satisfied with the product. In future if I come across any problem then I will update the same in the review. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value for money *by A***N on 26 June 2024* Overall product is good. Compact, good design for airthrow (as the swing is curved towards ceiling), good cooling, technician was very knowledable and patient, did proper installation (Noida). I asked for vacuuming the IDU before releasing refrigent gas, which he did. Most of the things related to AC performance are dependent on the technicians. So whichever company trains their technicians better following all protocols, the better the customer experience.Three downsides of the product for which I deduct 1 star :1.) IDU noise is a little higher even on low fan speed (sadly no option for quiet fan).2.) Operating the remote is complex.3.) The flap doesn't swing to the full stretch. During swing option the flap doesn't come down to its lowest point but only to the middle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent AC for a small sized room *by P***R on 22 April 2025* Works great, looks elegant, makes absolutely no noise, and has allowed me to run the ac at a reduced cost. Have been using this ac unit for the last 3 months with absolutely no complaints. The only maintenance is cleaning the filters once a month. Installation was fast, and within 24 hours of delivery. Only concerning part was that while doing my monthly maintenance I noticed that there is a smaller filter fitted onto the larger ac filter which can be detached, but that was missing on one of the 2 filter panels. I haven’t reached out since I don’t think it’s a critical component, but I would recommend inspecting your unit, especially the ac filters once the installation is complete.
