One towel will probably dry a midsize car as advertised but if you own a full size luxury sedan it will take more than one towel to dry the entire car. Apparently "patting" long curly hair with a microfiber is better than drying it traditionally.These towels are great for both tasks.The undisputed value leader in microfibers is the Kirkland brand at Costco - they're about 60 cents each for 12x12 towels and are almost disposable. However if you're looking for larger towels or better quality, chemical guys' towels are pretty damn good. I've used these, the "sasquatch" and a few other of their towels and they've all performed very well for over 2 years of use. I wash them with just a bit of non scented detergent - if you use too much it will not rinse properly - and occasionally with vinegar. ### ⭐⭐ Very disappointed. This towel gets water logged quickly and won't completely dry the vehicle.It is definitely way smaller than any bath towel I've ever used.If you are looking for a plush towel that absorbs lots of water, I love my wooly mammoth towels, although they have gone up significantly in price recently (like 50%).
