I bought 2 systems, one with a front bay for a DVD, and another without. I still haven't used the DVD player in 5 months. So I guess get an external USB DVD player/writer and keep it in the drawer for when you need one. I love the Lian Mid-Tower without the front bays, it's 4 inches shorter from front to back and doesn't take up a lot of space.
