That's because it is. 2/2 were faulty *by J***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 5 September 2014* I wanted to love it and likely would have had it adhered properly, ie. not been arrived bent and chipped (well shipped in a little box, so problem lies in production, not shipping or handling , as it has the best size & fit of any of the many glass screen protectors I've ever used on other models (Samsung Galaxy S2, Note, Note 2 by different manufacturers.A little background: I've installed more screen protectors of glass, wet & dry type plastic on phones, tablets and laptops than I care to remember, so I'm well versed in the whole fully damp bathroom, dust stickers (or Scotch tape, if stickers aren't included), dish detergent for washing hands (doesn't contain lotion-like stuff like the normal hand soap) and blow dry fingers to avoid fibers from towel or paper etc. I'm very OCD about this stuff. iSmooth installed so easily just now on my old Note 2 (wife inherited it, so needed a thinner fresh SP on it but only available from the US). Now I'm angry with myself for ordering these faulty screen protectors. I go to sea for 3 months in less than a week and badly need a functioning screen protector. This product is 2 for the price of 1 of the recognized ones (was looking for the Nllkin 9H, which I should have ordered based on the many xda-developer forum recommendations. Guess you get what you pay for.First one didn't adhere at all to the top left corner (like 1 cm2 area). Second one did adhere, except for one area where it came with a tiny nick on the underside edge on the right side (gently lifted it off to check and I can even feel the nick with the tip of my nail gliding along the edge, which isn't like a little speck of dust caught underneath once mounted. It looks more like a starburst oily smear of the adhesive (makes it look like the screen underneath is cracked, about 1/2 cm2). I saw 1 guy on xda recommend this (as opposed to the many who love Nillkin and a few brands I can't buy because they are not available in Europe (Danish toll of £16 + 25% VAT make it a no-go if product price is more than $14 if shipped from outside EU).Only 4 reviews, 2 of which reviewed this product only. A multitude of reviews of a product reflects quality assurance (is 0%, 2%, 10% or 50% faulty?). I wouldn't buy the best stuff ever if 50% were faulty, or in my case 100%, especially when I need it like yesterday. 2 out of 2 being faulty is a first for me over the last 5 years that I've been fiddling with this. My Spigen review, well at lest 1 of 2 was good. Sadly this was not the case with this product.It feels fine and I'm sure screen responsiveness it as good as glass ones usually are, but that doesn't matter to me at present. I'm in a real tight spot right now because of time constraints to get another product delivered in time from someone that has proper quality checks during production. Now off to look for the Nillkin 9H or whatever is highly rated (by LOTS of people) and hoping it'll arrive in time ie. shipped no later than Monday 8/8 (today's Saturday morning). Oh, and also hoping my wife won't be too upset with me tomorrow for cursing so loudly over and over again after this epic fail and self-loathing for choosing this product given my circumstances (temper + thin walls + bathroom right next to bedroom - well, you get the idea ;-)If you've read this far, I'm sorry for taking so much of your time, but save yourself the frustration and buy something else.I'll try to see if there's a way to upload the photos I took of both of them. Evening completely ruined by 2 tiny pieces of glass. It is exactly as advertised.Both glass protectors were pristine on arrival. Cleaned my screen with the alcohol wipe and dust sticker then surgically aligned the glass with the screen and presto - Its done. No bubbles or anything to worry about. It just got sucked into place neatly and so far has been pretty resistant to scratches and dirt.
