Since then, the right ear bud separated into 2 pieces. I don't know if they're a press-fit assembly, but the only way to reassemble it was to use super glue. Today (11/09/18), I was taking them out of my ears and the left ear bud separated into 2 pieces. It also, broke the connection, so I will have to try and fish out the wires and solder them to the terminals and then glue the 2 halves together. For the $40 price tag, I am not impressed.12/01/18 Edit. I contacted Advanced and filed a warranty claim. They provided a pre-paid shipping label and I returned my ear buds for inspection. A week or so later, I received an email telling me that they had determined that the glue holding the can into the socket had failed and that they had decided to replace the earbuds. The new earbuds arrived today in the standard retail package. Thank you ADVANCED.Review went from 2 stars to 4 stars because I appreciate that they stand behind their products and have good customer service. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The sound of the HD600, but in a small, portable package *by D***C on February 24, 2018* they sound very balanced, yet warm. If you change from comply to rubber tip, you gain a bit of the highs and more bass, and these are quite accurate since if the recording of a song used a sibilant microphone for the artist, it may sound harsh since they are quite accurate, like Kendrick Lamar's album "good kid maad city", and every song has sizzling highs because of what i suspect is the microphone they used for recording him rap.Bottomline: They should be worth more than they are, but you simply cannot beat this at a bargain price of $40 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid $40 IEM *by M***K on June 30, 2018* I needed a pair of utility IEMs and these hit the price point I had in mind. They sounded fairly awful out of the box but I burned them for 3 days and they improved noticeably. I did have to change to a bigger Comply tip for a better seal. I was hoping the new tips might attenuate the high end a little bit, but not so far. I am hoping this improves over time, because even though I like extended highs, I find these to be just a bit harsh. I might also experiment with other tips to see if that helps. These come with a nice selection and a very nice little carrying case. The only real serious negative is the cord, which is nicely made and looks strong, has a high microphonic noise level.
