## Description

HiFiGoKinera Celest PhoenixCall 1 DD+2BA+2 6mm Micro Planar Drivers in-Ear Monitors, 5 Hybrid Drivers IEMs in-Ear Earphones (Transparent, 4.4mm)

## Features

- Phoenixcall Background: A hundred birds flock to Phoenixcall was a legendary scene inspired by the ancient Chinese myth “The Legends of Mountains and Seas”. Mountains, rivers, lakes, seas, winds, rain, and snow, calling for the families of divine birds, phoenixes appearing out of nowhere together filling the skies, with birds singing, flocks and flocks of them throwing themselves into the deep forest, depicting a harmonic grand scene of hundreds of birds flocking back to their southern home.
- Tuning Concept: “Phoenixcall” has an overall bright sound with deep and elastic bass that is more gentle and relaxed. The midrange has a solid and natural sound, while the high frequencies are clear, bright, and clean. The soundstage is spacious and natural, with round and smooth vocals and strong resolution, providing you with a comfortable music experience.
- Driver configuration: “Phoenixcall” uses a 7mm strong magnetic coil for the low frequencies, a customized BA driver for the mid frequencies, another customized BA driver for the mid-high frequencies, and two Micro planar drivers(Flat panel drivers) for the ultra-high frequencies. Through careful frequency division tuning, it presents characteristics of powerful bass, accurate midrange, and sweet highs, resulting in an overall bright, transparent, and natural sound that is suitable for pop music.
- Shell Design: It uses the phoenix pattern, which has traditional significance, as the main element for the design. The phoenix pattern is combined with other bird and flower patterns, and the wild and bold lines of the phoenix pattern are refined and transformed with geometric elements, using a painting style to give it a full and unique shape, to showcase people's vision of a happy, prosperous, and peaceful life, as well as the moral of carrying great virtues and embracing all rivers.
- Eartips: Celest 221 Vocal Eartips, to enhance the treble, pleasing vocal Celest C-07 Balanced Eartips for Sound-balanced and holographic.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

These are phenomenal, for ANY budget/price. But for $130, absolutely stellar 😀

*by B***N on Reviewed in the United States on 18 February 2024*

ALL testing was performed on my:1. (Shanling Audio M5s with Dual AKM 4493EQ DAC chips & Dual HP Amps)~ Shanling Audio M5s DAP directly (with a local Micro SD Card) and the 2.5mm balanced or 3.5mm SE outputs or USB C - C (DD HiFi TC07S) with the M5s in USB transport mode being fed into my:2. (Shanling Audio UA5 with Dual ESS 9038Q2M DAC chips & Dual Ritecore HP Amps) with a HQ DD HiFi TC07S USB C -C cable.ALL files were 24/96 or 24/44.1 FLACs I made myself from my own raw 24/96 or 24/44.1 PCM WAV live audio recordings/files, with Traders Little Helper doing the encoding at it's highest level of (8). And I believe I tried ALL of my IEM Cables too.---------------------------------------------------First off, the stock cable is VERY high quality and is much nicer and softer than ones that came with $1,100 IEM's. The sound is perfect for the PhoenixCall IMO 🙏Anyway, I have different listening needs than almost EVERYONE else, as I almost never listen to regular music and "albums". Instead, i listen to my OWN live audio recordings of Phish/jamband type music that I record myself with some super high quality gear. My microphones used have been really high quality from 1999 to present, and in 2011, i laid down a TON of money and bought Schoeps microphones. So 99.999999% (8N LoL 😆) of what I'm listening to are my own 2-4 channel mixes of JUST my Schoeps mics -> Sound Devices recorders audio sources (and sometimes other people's recordings too obviously). So everything is either in 24/96, 24/44.1 or 16/44.1 FLACs on my Shanling Audio M5s DAP when I'm critically listening 🎧EVERY time I record, it's a different atmosphere, location, venue, band, soundguy, etc, so obviously, not EVERY recording is going to be absolutely mind blowing. But ALL are high quality of the actual experience of being at a show/concert and in the crowd relatively close up.----Ok, so onto the SOUND of the PhoenixCall IEM's----I do a TON of research before buying everything, and these seemed very good through reviews and looked absolutely stunning. I also loved the tribrid driver setup and was VERY anxious to try these. Not EVERY recording of mine sounds absolutely jaw droppingly gorgeous through these, but the ones that DO, holy SH$T. I'm absolutely transported back in time to the EXACT location of my microphones with sound swirling all around me and encasing me in a symphony of greatness. The sound stage is VERY wide and just perfect for my tastes (especially on outdoor recordings), the instrument separation is phenomenal, even when there's a lot going on with 5+ band members jamming out in a chaotic but absolutely gorgeous sound and everything is in high definition and resolution. And the bass and bottom notes have GREAT attack and decay for ME, and don't really ever interfere with the other frequencies. The DD in these is great for my purposes and needing a more neutral and balanced sound for "mixing and mastering". And after I burned these in for like 20-30 hours, the DD has started flexing at it's maximum and has gotten even better, with much better extension and elasticicty. All while remaining "fun" sounding and highly engaging. WELL done on the tuning Kinera/Celeste.The mids do have a little bit of recession, but I honestly haven't listened to anything with much vocals in it yet as i prefer instrumental improvisation, so I can't say as much about those frequencies yet. However, I did listen to some Ava Max with these, and her voice was incredible and very angelic, as usual. LOTS of resolution in them without ever getting fatiguing or sounding unnatural. The highs and those Micro Planars are really impressive to me. They have such a wonderful extension and smoothness to them that they never hurt my rather sibilant ears. And their airiness is what makes their soundstage and imaging so precise. I still can't believe such a HUGE sound is coming from those tiny things. The highs reach into the sky but NEVER get fatiguing to ME. Again, well done Kinera/Celest🙏✌️🕺Again, everyone hears things differently and someone's hearing is ALWAYS subjective, so take this with a grain of salt 🧂 But for $130, they're staying in my possession for EVER. Like I said, not every recording sounds that amazing, and some sound downright strange. But that's DEFINITELY because of the variety of the recordings I do and NOT the IEM's fault. I WILL be listening to more albums with them to just to see what they can do, and I'll report back if anything changes drastically. For someone on the budget, I think these are Chi-Fi GENIUS and IMO sound as good or better than IEM's much more expensive 🫰 They're very impressive and I call them "little brothers" to my Aful Performer 8 IEM's, if that means anything to you. Budget IEM's have gotten INSANELY good and I think these are a solid buy. I'd buy them over again and again if necessary. And I must mention this, my EDM recordings ALL sounded stellar with these and I was easily hearing details that I've never heard before in songs I've been listening to for decades.Again, well done Kinera/Celest!!! The sound, isolation and fit is spot on and with some Comply Memory Foam tips, I can listen more comfortably with longer sessions since they fit so much better. I hate silicone tips. And these look absolutely fantastic. I LOVE being able to see all of the drivers inside and the faceplates are done perfectly.

    Great sound surprised by bass

*by C***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 26 May 2024*

I thought with these having 1 DD was fine but with it being I think around 6-7 mm were as some nearly all used 10mm DD for low end bass some now using 2 like the hype 2 and zigaat cincotres you would think maybe it would lack a little in the bass but it doesn't it's not as much as especially the zigaat cincotres but it's not lacking at all so it goes to show it's how they use the driver's obviously its variable depending on source more than most. Getting the right dongle dac or player is important but when you do find that sweet spot it's actually very good, enjoyable iem so I would recommend it

    Smooth presentation

*by A***H on Reviewed in the United States on 6 June 2024*

I purchased these as a replace & upgrade; replacing a pair of sennheiser iems & upgrading from my back-up KZ iems. I use my iems for listening and as musician monitors. They do have a smooth presentation which digs more into the low end, compared to the sennheiser, and non-fatiguing highs similar to the sennheiser. The sound is a little more cohesive compared to the KZ, similar number of drivers, and I like the style. These were a good buy for me.
