Review: non-toxic, clean, WITH a catch - would be nice if it contained aloe, but nice that it has essential oils! very clean and nontoxic soap, which is very important to us. does not leave residue. can be used on glass and cleans well without smears. good size, can get two full refills. is gentle, does not damage dishes. it doesnt foam which we like. the scent is subtle and not overpowering, but has a nice lemon smell (at least for the lemon verbena) very nice that its so cheap and you can reuse by refilling dispensers instead of buying plastic stuff! definitely recommend if you want to help the environment, and this is cheaper and better too

Lemon Verbena scent smells more like a woodsy perfume than lemony fresh - it reminds me a lot of Polo cologne from my teenage years. Once I got over that, I found that it's a pretty good liquid soap: I like that it's plant-based and gently on my hands. It doesn't seem as effective on greasy dishes as other natural brands do, so 1 point deduction for that. Would I buy it again? Probably - the price is right.
