If so does anyone have a recipe for lobster bisque?** A: Yes you can especially when you don't want to make it from scratch. There are many easy recipes online but I don't think Amazon would want me to mention the sites. Basically melt butter in a large saucepan over medium-low heat. Add mushrooms, onion, celery, and carrot. Cook and stir until tender, about 10 minutes. Stir in a can of chicken broth, and season with salt, pepper and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Pour the vegetables and broth mixture into the container of a blender, and add 1/4 cup of the lobster meat (they sell lobster pieces in most grocery stores in the frozen section). Cover, and process until smooth. Return to the saucepan, and stir in the a pint of half-and-half or heavy cream, 1/3 cup white wine, 2 tbsps. of the Lobster bouillon and remaining lobster meat. Cook over low heat, stirring frequently until thickened, about 15-20 minutes. Garnish with slivered scallion & parsley, salt & pepper to taste. Serve with hot crusty bread & butter either French/Italian bread and a side salad- should serve about 6 or the recipe can be easily doubled.
