His face, arms, and legs in particular are very prone to drying out in the cold weather. I have tried many products on my babys skin. He seems to get better and as soon as we go outside, it gets worse. I decided to try this baby butter to see if it will make a difference. The butter itself is very rich. It goes on nice and smoothly and absorbs pretty quickly. It does not feel greasy at all. It has a light scent, not too overpowering. I can't say that it lasts for 24 hours. But it does offer moisture to a degree for a extended period of time. My wife has actually tried this product on her belly, as we are expecting. It works well. However, my sons skin still gets dry when going outside. So I try to apply this butter before leaving the house and a bit when we return. I was not able to apply this to my sensitive skinned child because of the potent perfume additive. I felt that the cream smells feminine but my husband found it to smell fresh or clean. It smells like a spray perfume and is lovely but does not smell childlike. I do not think this is suitable for a child that has eczema or delicate skin and this is based on personal previous experience. Since this lotion is heavily perfumed I recommend spot testing on your child or ordering for yourself because of its hydrating abilities.
