It's a waste of good micro chip functions. My thought was why in the name of God would I want a clock, I can barely see, on my guitar tuner? However, that function came with the tuner. I looked high and low for the tuner (PT10) without the clock but couldn't find it. Actually you long press on one of the side buttons until it enters clock set mode. The back-light is good for tuning in low light conditions.This is the second PT10 that I have owned - the first got smashed when my guitar fell over with it clipped on; I immediately ordered a replacement.I have used it to tune electric, acoustic and classical guitars and it works well for all of them. I have also had success tuning a banjo and a violin.I have owned the earlier PT2 tuner for many years and was always very happy with it; I still have it and it still works. The PT10 is a big improvement on that.For this money you can't go wrong with this - you will pay a lot more for one of these in a music shop.
