But you can pull it out and wash it out in the kitchen sink but if you cannot pull it out, just pour some boiling water into it. Try to leave the dispenser drawer open halfway after every wash until the next wash this helps in drying out the black algae that eliminates in the drawer space and will automatically get washed out without effecting your wash. Sorry but that's all the help I can give you through trial and error. It works on my machine. So try it. Good luck. **Q: Is it normal for this to foam a lot?** A: yes it foams like crazy. not sure why this happened to me but it foamed so much my machine leaked everywhere **Q: Is this the same as Calgon, or should i stick with Dettol?** A: I would not say it is the same as calgon. I find the older your machine, the more it needs a specific cleaner to get rid of the bacteria that cause the smell. Also if I remember, calgon is used with your washing. Dr Beckmann is used with an empty washing machine. **Q: Is this good at removing mould from rubber in front load machine?** A: After giving it a good first wash, when you open the door take a sponge scrubber & give it a good scrub in between the rubbers at the door bottom. Then wipe with cloth. Try poking the 2-3 holes that you can see so that the water can drain off. But if no holes then clean with cloth after every wash so no mould will form. Secondly try keeping machine door and soap tray open for a while after wash is done to prevent mold or bad smell from forming.
